What Causes Dirty Electricity?
Dirty Electricity and other electrical pollution come from a number of sources. Clean electric power was originally intended to power our homes and buildings at a safe frequency of 60 Hertz (Hz). Today, for a number of reasons, it’s becoming increasingly contaminated with invisible micro-surges of dangerous radio frequency radiation and other electromagnetic contaminates now referred to as "Dirty Electricity".
Dirty Electricity has become a growing problem in recent years due to our increased use of modern energy-efficient lighting and electronic devices such as dimmer switches, computer and electronic entertainment centers. These modern electronic conveniences, although energy-efficient, tend to induce high levels of transients (high frequency spikes) and harmonics (multiples of the fundamental 60Hz frequency) back into a building's electrical system. These electromagnetic contaminates ride along on a building's electrical system and can contaminate an entire building and even buildings and homes nearby.
Another factor contributing to our contaminated electrical environment is ground current. ground current can often carry unpredicted high frequencies and, in some cases dangerous voltages into a home or building and intermingle with its AC power supply. radio frequency (RF) waves from nearby broadcast transmitters can enter a home through the air and be picked up and reradiated by a building's electrical system, adding to a person's daily, ongoing exposure to man-made EMF energy.
Humans can be exposed to these dangerous electrical contaminates simply by being in close proximity to a contaminated room or next to electrical devices plugged into AC outlets and are exposed to this toxin through “capacitive-coupling”.
For many, health problems become worse when living and working in an environment contaminated with Dirty Electricity and other EMF energy. Today, chronic diseases, cancer and on the rise and more and more people are experiencing symptoms of electrosenitivities known as “Electrical
Hypersensitivity" (EHS), as a result of their ongoing exposure to Dirty Electricity and increasing amounts of electromagnetic energy.
